Die TCI TraCon International GmbH wurde 1989 gegründet zu dem Zweck US-amerikanische Güter und Dienstleistung in Deutschland anzubieten sowie US-amerikanische Firmen für den Markteintritt nach Europa zu beraten. In den 90er Jahren war die TCI GmbH u.a. für folgende Kunden und Branchen tätig: Tempo Electronics (electronic component packaging), ENVIPCO (environmental technology), Barclay Group / Rockwell (managed futures funds).

TCI TraCon International GmbH was founded in 1989 to identify US goods and services for export to Germany and to consult US-companies for market entry into Europe.
